Parents: Next Action Plan is opting your students out of end of course exams and PARCC field tests. End of course exams: opt out safely in 4-8 grades and if you are told they count toward the grade, your rebuttal is this: did you write this test? Can you tell me what questions are on this test? Teachers, principals cant tell you that, so your answer is this: then you will not grade my child on a test you didnt write. 9-12 grades: opt out safely of all EOCs that are not linked to science, history, reading, writing and math. PARCC field tests: corporate boondoggle and waste of our money and our kids instructional time. These tests absolutely do not mean anything or count for anything at all this year. If your school is a field test site, ask which classes are taking it. Do not be threatened or intimidated at all by opting out of this test.
