Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that Edinson Cavani wants to play as a central striker, but insists the Uruguayan will not be leaving the French capital in pursuit of that aim this summer. Manchester United have been consistently mooted as suitors, but Al-Khelaifi has done his best to put the Red Devils off an approach, even while admitting Cavani is not happy at present. Perhaps he is not satisfied with his position, but he is very happy in Paris. He wants to play as a central striker, but these things are for the coach to decide and maybe he will change the system for next season. Cavani is very important for us, with his style of play he is very unselfish and he wont leave.
