Parking Alert: Beginning this evening, security officers will be blocking some parking spaces on campus for a closed taping of the television show Nashville scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26. Affected locations will include the spaces on Belmont Boulevard from the cafeteria to Acklen, the Hitch lot, the Wilson alley and the spots located in front of the Massey Business Center (MBC spots impacted both Thursday and Friday.) The library lot will remain open but only accessible from the alley side. As a reminder, there have been several vacant parking spaces in the Thrailkill and Dickens Garages, both of which may be accessed from the 12th Avenue/Hillside entrance. Temporary Road Closure: On Fridays, Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, construction crews will close 15th Avenue South between the Bruin Hills entrance and Soccer Field Drive from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for concrete pours on the new residence hall on the east side of 15th Avenue South across from Kennedy Hall. Drivers should use 14th Avenue South or 12th Avenue South as the detour route.
