(Pashto-Chinese Dictionary) This is Professor Che Hongcai. He has spent his last 36 years trying to make a Pashto-Chinese dictonary. He was given the task by the then Chinese government to make a Pashto-Chinese dictionary. He came to Afghanistan in 1959 as an exchange student from China and started studying Pashto Major in Kabuls university. He completed his studies in 1963. After all those long hard years, he has finally developed Pashto-Chinese this year. His work is a true example of dedication, commitment and patriotism to ones motherland. This is service performed. This is response to a calling. This is resilience and not giving up. This is a prime example of an unwavering will. His work will open doors to many more ideas and it will further expand the important relationship between China and Afghanistan.
