Pastor Jack led this evenings corporate prayer and it was a very special time indeed. He continued on the days focus of discipleship and these were his points: Invitation: Matt 11:28-30 Luke 9:59 We have said yes to the invitation. Challenge: We build with the end in sight. There is a plan in discipleship that God wants to take us somewhere. We are fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalm 139 Do you realise just how incredible you are? It is because of God. We were asked to say to the person next to us, It is amazing how outstanding I am. You aint seen nothing yet! As a declaration of how fearfully God has made us. Challenge is a fun filled adventure to be discipled to what God originally intended. To think like God, to be like God, to relate like God. To have a mental capacity off the charts. Imagine the creativity that would come. There would be no fear, no insecurities, we would have the mind of Christ, joy and peace, forebearance would be what you were known for, kindness, gentleness and self-control. The goal of discipleship. To take back who we really are. Discipleship is an invitation and a challenge. Give away what we have. The more we give the more we have to give. In that way our influence will increase.
