Pat Connelly After 35 at Derby Academy, Mike Connelly has graduated from the 8th grade! He made a dead langue come alive, English became exciting and taught his students to Speak that I May Know You. He was a mentor to all and always had an open door to every student, coworker and parent. Yesterday there were so many wonderful and heart felt tributes to Mike, and the Latin Prize at Derby will be known as the Michael Connelly Latin Prize. His family was there to join in the celebration and the final tribute a surprise guest speaker, Kristin Connelly Derby Class of 1990. Kris gave an amazing speech in honor of her father to an audience of over 400. Congratulation Mr. C, we love you.
