In Florida, you can vote to kick out Rick Scott, or to legalize medical marihuana. Vote to keep the Senate in Democrats’ hands. The Senate confirms Supreme Court Appointees, and the Supreme Court makes the big decisions, among others, on gay marriage, a woman’s right to choose, separation of state and church. A Republican-leaning Supreme Court, packed with Bush appointees, decided in 2009 that corporations and wealthy individuals have the right to manipulate elections, even more than they already do, via Super PACs. All we can do to counteract that is to vote. So vote! Remember also that it is always Republicans who want to add stricter voting laws to prevent people from voting. So vote!
