Paul McAuliffe shared 18 minutes ago near BallymunPlease see below a letter to the Tanaiste Joan Burton which I issued today regarding the appropriateness of the jobseeker.fas.ie website being used to advertise the positions of Greyhound Recycling workers while they are currently being locked-out of their employment. Tanaiste I would like to query the appropriateness of the jobseeker.fas.ie website being used to advertise the positions of Greyhound Recycling workers while they are currently being locked-out of their employment. The positions are advertised by the recruitment agency INSOURCE for work on a Recycling yard in the Clondalkin area. The website should be a tool to allow jobseekers secure employment but using it to replace workers in an official trade dispute doesnt seem appropriate. I would ask you to contact the administrators of the site to remove the advertisement immediately as it is not a legitimate job vacancy. I am also very concerned for the workers and their families who were faced with an impossible choice and locked-out of their employment. I would ask you to urge Greyhound to immediately allow people back to work and to start negotiations. While employers will always have the option to examine wage levels, costs and possible redundancies using the tactic of a lock-out is unacceptable. welfare.ie/en/Pages/JobSearch_Results.aspx?JobType=Job_Type-7&location=Job_Location-1§or&jobdate&submit=Search Ref Job driver 866408 Ref job helper 867387
