Paul wrote to the Phillipians (AND TO ME!!!) in chapter 4, verse 11, I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I ASSURE you this past week, I have NOT been CONTENT! I felt if I saw ONE more pill, bill, doctor, got poked or prodded for one more TEST, I was going to have one of those renowned CRAZY CRANFORD CRACKS-UPS!. I mean my bag of tricks was empty and I was so weary from it all that I had thrown in the towel, stomped on the towel, spit on the towel, called the towel names, and THEN double dog dared the devil to pick UP my NASTY towel!! I think my royal hissey fit even made the devil ASHAMED!! WHEW! I am so GLAD that the LORD never GIVES up on us EVEN when we give up on ourselves and on HIM! THEN WEDNESDAY I get the MAIL ................................................................... I got a bill from the lab company for over $1700, as I discovered that my insurance is out of network! Then I opened the next piece of mail and I had a $10,000 bill from the hospital for my surgery in November that I thought had been settled months AGO!! WELL, needless to say, I hit the roof and bounced around about 16 times. I got so stresed that I could barely walk for 2 days. I know better than to allow stress to rule my being, good or bad. BECAUSE, I end up immobile. So I prayed hard for the LORD to regain control of me, rein in my emotions, RENEW my faith, and then I did my homework. I pulled all the insurance statements and paperwork supporting the payments that I had made regarding this hospital stay and the lab bills. THEN I put the nurse hat on that I PROUDLY wore for 20+ years and I went to work. With the LORDS help and HIS grace, my hospital bill and my lab bill are both NOW $0.00 balance! I can use the lab for future labs, and they will ACCEPT what my insurance will pay and I will owe them NOTHING! This is great because this is where I have to get my treatments and labs done every 6 weeks! The LORD worked it out that I did NOT have to change my doctors office where I get my treatments and lab!!! Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
