I have trusted in the Lord without wavering . Search me , O Lord , and try me , examine my heart and my mind , because your love is ever before me , and continually follow your truth . Do not associate me with deceitful men , nor walk with hypocrites, hate the gathering of evildoers , and not I sit with the wicked , and thine altar , Lord , I approach singing hymns of gratitude and speaking of all thy wondrous works . (Psalm 26.1-12 ) . 1 ) - ( God ) saved us and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works , but according to His own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began ( 2 Timothy 1:9 . ) . REFLECTION : Before time began ! How do we understand when this was ? God thought of us for the first time in an age that can not even understand ! His reason for thinking of us was to demonstrate His grace and call others to his side . Jesus was always Gods plan and we were always his target. Lets make sure we live our lives in holiness ! 2 ) - Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat we drink or What shall we wear For the pagans run after all these things , and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all ; But seek ye ? ? first his kingdom and his righteousness , and all these things shall be added therefore not troubled you with the day tomorrow, for tomorrow will care ; . sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof . ( Matthew 6:31-34 ) . REFLECTION : God is responsible for bringing us into the world , so He can not let us miss the food, or anything else we need. We can not put our work and daily chores above God , our greatest dedication should be seeking God . If we walk anxious about tomorrow , we must repent by lack of faith , and many times we want to spend our wages on what is not bread ( Isaiah 55:2 ) , because they are disciples of Jesus can rest and be assured He came that we might have life and life in abundance ( John 10:10 ) . ********************************************************************************************************************************* Carrying the Cross : Then he called the crowd and his disciples and said : If anyone would come after me , let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me . ( Mark 8:34 ) . Sometimes we say, We all have a cross to bear My cross is my supervisor at work. , Or My cross is this health problem , or My cross is this relative . But perhaps we have lost the real meaning of the cross . If you lived in the first century Jerusalem and saw someone surrounded by Roman guards and carrying a cross on the street, have no doubt about where that person would be going . You know she was about to be taken out of the city , placed on the cross and crucified . Someone carrying a cross was someone who was about to die . So when Jesus said, If anyone would come after me , let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me , His disciples understood what He meant . Taking the cross speaks of dying to ourselves and want Gods will more than our own will . This does not mean that your life will be ruined when you decide to walk with God . This means that you will now have life and life abundantly as Jesus promised , because you want Gods will rather than his own will . Jesus said : For whoever would save his life will lose it , but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospels will save it ( Mark 8:35 ) . Are you taking up the cross and following Jesus ? Taking up the cross will affect and influence all aspects of your life . The result will be life as it was meant to be lived : in the perfect will of God . To be part of your family , you do not need blood relationship : a spiritual birth should occur . When Jesus says Here are my mother and my brothers, declares that his disciples are forming his real family . The expression who does ... ( v. 35 ) shows that everyone - black , white, red , brown and yellow , men and women , old and young , rich and poor , prisoners and free , educated and uneducated , Jews and Gentiles can be included in Gods grace . It is an interesting example of deliberate inclusive language . But , prior to an unlimited inclusion of any idea , it should be noted that the same verse has one condition: . Whoever does the will of God ... Instead of including everyone who is around you ( v. 32 ) , Jesus statement seems to limit who are qualified as your family to those who hear and do what God wants (see verse highlighted) . Jesus purpose was not to neglect their families , but by contrast demonstrate the true meaning of family ties . Jesus did not treat anyone with lack of love even their enemies would much less do it with his brothers and his mother . The same offer made to all who were around him was also extended to those who shared blood ties . In fact , several of his family became his disciples , being obedient to God . But remember that no one is able to do the will of God alone , rather only by the power and sovereign grace of God . You can now consider the family of Jesus? Can assert that does the will of God ? Whoever obeys God a part of your family . SPECIAL MESSAGE : HANDS WRINKLED : A couple of excellent academic level , applied to the manager of a large company position. Also, my mother washes clothes faster than me. The director said , I have a request . Today , when we return , check and clean the hands of his mother and then come see me tomorrow morning . He felt that the chance of getting the job was high . When he got home , he asked , happy, the mother to let him clean her hands . The mother felt strange, was happy but with mixed feelings and showed her hands to the kid. The young man slowly wiped his hands of the mother . A tear trickled down her as he did . It was the first time I noticed that the mothers hands were so wrinkled , and there were too many bruises in her hands . Some were so painful that his mother complained when cleaned with water . This was the first time that the young man realized that this pair of hands that washed clothes all day had paid her tuition. The bruises in the mothers hands were the price to pay for his graduation , academic excellence and his future. After cleaning up in the hands of the mother , the youth quietly washed the remaining clothes for his mother. That night , mother and son talked for a long time . Next morning , the youth went to the directors office . The director noticed the tears in the eyes of the young man and asked , Tell me , what you did and learned yesterday in your house ? . The young man answered , I cleaned my mothers hands and still ended up washing the clothes left over. The director asked , Please tell me what you felt . The young man said , First, I now know what to value . Without my mother, there would be no I successfully today. Second, by working and helping my mother , only now realized the difficulty and hardness that is to have something ready . Third, now appreciate the importance and value of family relationship. The director said , This is what Im looking for a manager . I want to recruit someone who can appreciate the help of others , a person who knows the sufferings of others to have things done and a person who does not put money as his only goal in life . re Hired . Later , this young man worked hard and received the respect of his subordinates . Every employee worked diligently and as a team . The companys performance improved tremendously . A child who has been protected and habitually had everything we wanted to develop mentally and always put first . Ignore the efforts of his parents and when starting work , assume that all people should hear and when you become a manager, never know the sufferings of his employees and always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically , may be successful for a while , but eventually did not feel the sense of goal achieved . Will grumble , be full of hatred and fight for more .
