Pedro Rodriguez has praised former Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas, calling him one of the best players in his position and saying he was unfairly criticized during his time in Spain. Fabregas left Barcelona in the summer when it was revealed he was no longer wanted at the club. The former Arsenal midfielder came back to England to play in the blue of Chelsea. He has picked up where he left off in the Premier League and delivered assist after assist as Chelsea barged to an early lead at the top of the table. Pedro said: “Fabregas is a player that stands out as being appreciated in the Premier League for what he is: a very great player and one of the best in the world playing in his position. There was too much criticism toward him here, which in my opinion was not fair. But this is what happens when you play in the teams we play in. But I’m happy for him because you can tell he is enjoying his football now.”
