Peek a boo the pit bull that was found as a stray a few weeks ago had her major surgery yesterday. She is now resting comfortably at Gabbys and is on the road to recovery. She had a mass on her hip removed, she had major reconstructive surgery on her neck due to the infection, dead tissue and scar tissue due to the wound not being treated. She was in heat so there was a lot of swelling and excessive amount of blood loss. She is taking her meds and doing wonderful. Although she has been through a lot she still manages to be super sweet, loving and good with all the other dogs! Peek a boo is one tough cookie! She will be available for adoption once she is all better. Donations are greatly appreciated. Her vet bills from yesterday were $484.
