Pennsylvania voters are showing scant support for Gov. Tom - TopicsExpress

Pennsylvania voters are showing scant support for Gov. Tom Corbett, and a large majority (61 percent) believe the state is “on the wrong track,” according to a new Franklin & Marshall College Poll. The poll of registered voters says that in the governor’s race, Democratic candidate Tom Wolf holds a 25 percentage point lead over Republican Gov. Tom Corbett — 49 percent to 24 percent, with 25 percent indicating they “don’t know.” The campaign is well publicized. Slightly more than eight in 10 voters have seen a commercial for the candidates for governor. Of those who have seen a commercial, 82 percent have seen a commercial for both candidates. Education (22 percent) and taxes (19 percent) are the issues voters say are most important to them in considering who to support for governor. pottsmerc/government-and-politics/20140828/poll-more-pa-voters-undecided-than-support-gov-corbett
