People Against Captivity 11 hrs · Edited · . F R E E L O L I T A: Wade in the Water by Zach Affolter. (Great job Zach). Lolita still remembers her familys calls, based on a study a few years ago where their vocals were played for her. She has remained strong for so long despite suffering most of her life. It is time to hear her calls and retire her to her native waters! The Miracle March for Lolita, to take place on January 17th in Miami, will be the largest event held for a captive cetacean (dolphin or whale) in the nation. Over 1000 people are expected to attend and guest speakers Howard Garrett of Orca Network, Dr. Naomi Rose of the Animal Welfare Institute, Peggy Oki of the Origami Whales Project, entertainer Robbyne Kaamil, and teen activist Zach Affolter will share their knowledge, experience, and passion for Lolita on the stage. This event has been endorsed by the following organizations: OrcaBall; The Orca Network; People Against Captivity; Cetacean Society International; Born Free U.S.A.; PETA; F.L.O.A.T.(For the Love of All Things); Save the Whales; Peggy Oki and the Origami Whales Project ; Bikers 4 Orcas SoCal; Blackfish Brigade https://m.youtube/watch?v=Er2bcO0lQlU&feature=youtu.be
