People have a hard time understanding what the abduction and murder of their children means historically to Jews. I grew up hearing from my Grandmother who lived in Warsaw in the early 1900s how her beautiful, dark-haired little sister was kidnapped and gruesomely killed by an unknown assailant --the authorities never pursued the case. It has been like this for centuries. Israel was supposed to be the haven Jews never had from random murder and persecution. The deaths of the 3 innocent boys violates that respite and reawakens horrible memories
