People in the vicinity of The Pines should continue to monitor a fire near the Gore HIghway, south of Captains Mountain. Fire and Emergency Services says people in the area may lose power, water or phone connection as the fire moves into the community. Property is also under threat. QFES recommends you leave now if thats your plan. An evacuation point is the Millmerran Sports Centre on Commons St in Millmerran.
