People, look. I say look-a-here. Our self-imposed strategies and mechanisms that we use to cope with life’s stressors can be useful (e.g., meditation, prayer, exercise, humor) but if we have the resources, we also MUST seek the guidance of qualified mental health professionals who can evaluate and treat us comprehensively in order to help us solve our specific problems when we feel overwhelmed. Trust me; I’m kind of a doctor (who isn’t ashamed to admit that I seek help from other ones when I need it).
