People of Friend .... I graduated from Friend Public Sshools in 1971. Due to all kinds circumstances I have not been able to attend a Class Reunion since then. I have been asked and asked to attend an it never worked out due to money and timing while I was in the military. But I have been back to Friend a couple of times in the past couple of years. And I have been criticized by many for not being there. And by criticized I do not mean in a major negative way. So heres my weird proposition As my position as the Port Charlotte Yacht Club Fleet Captain, I, in the last two years have gained a lot of friends and contacts in this area. So heres m proposal ..... Graduates of Friend High School ... regardless of what when you graduated ... a reunion in FLORIDA... It doesnt matter that we graduated in Friend, it matters that we are together... So Heres my idea .. May or June 2014 ... You all come to the Port Charlotte Florida Area for a major reunion. I will provide the place for the reunion, I will make hotel arrangements for those who need them, I will provide the accommodations for those who need it, I will set up the food and entertainment, Basically, I will be your host. Your cost is .... Getting here and cost of hotel. What I need from you is .... Commitment to be here ... contact me at wordensh@gmail ......
