People of Irjaa and Tajahhum have claimed that collaborating with the kuffar against the Muslims is not kufr, unless the collaborator “loves kufr" or “hates Islam ”; and this cult also claims that if he loves Islam and hates kufr, then he is still a Muslim. Shaykh Nasser Al-Fahd said regarding such people, “They have based their opinion regarding Mudhahrah (The Major Tawalli) upon the foundation of Jahm Ibn Safwan in Irja’ - meaning that they refer the Nullifications of actions and statements back to the affairs of the heart. So they consider the collaborator and supporter of the kuffar against the Muslims of not having committed kufr, until he openly admits that he is pleased with the religion of kufr. So this opinion of theirs implies that if someone attaches himself to Islam, and yet leads the armies of the Crusaders against the Muslims, such leader does not become a kafir (according to their deviant opinion)." Refer to Waqafat Ma’a Al- Waqafat - Just as the Quburiyyah (Grave Worshippers) do make Takfeer calling out to the dead saints, unless the caller believers in his heart that the saint can benefit or harm; Similarly, the Qusururiyyah (Palace Worshippers) do not make Takfeer of Mudhaharah, unless the collaborator in his heart loves kufr of hates Islam. Both are Murj’iah, who refer the Nullifying actions of Islam, back to the unseen (ghayb) affairs of the heart.] And then Shaykh Nasser Al-Fahd says something that completely uproots the deception of the Followers of Irja’ and Tajahhum. So think upon this closely… If Mudhaharah is a Nullification, but not by itself (Bi Dhatihi) - and if is apostasy only if that is conjoined with “hatred against Islam" and “love for kufr" - Then it is possible to say that every single action (or statement) is a Nullification of Islam and apostasy! Since if someone scratches his own head, while in his heart he loves kufr - then he has become a kafir! And not only this - This opinion also includes the Wajibat (obligatory actions), such as Salah, and Zakah, etc. Thus, if someone prays Salah, while he hates Islam - then his Salah is a Nullification of Islam, and he has become an apostate for praying Salah!! - And thus, it is also permissible, according to the implication of their views, that Riba (usury) be listed along with the Nullifications - if you have understood the above examples. Brothers of Tawheed! This is the reality of the Murji’ah - so fear Allah! O Brethren! If you have not understood this - then read this again slowly - for when you do understand this, you will realize the evil wickedness of the Jahmi- styled Murji’ah. For example, other actions which are Nullifications of Islam, like slaughtering for other than Allah. Take the Quburiyyah, they will say that if it is done intending kufr, then it is kufr, but if it is not done for kufr, then it is not kufr. But according to Ahlus Sunnah, both actions, Mudhaharah al-Kuffar and Dhabh Li Ghayrillah are Nullifications of Islam - regardless of the affairs of the heart. So Shaykh Sulayman Ibn Abdullah said, “Know, may Allah have mercy upon you, that: If a person displays Muwafaqah (Agreement,Compliance ) with the mushrikeen regarding their Deen out of Khawf from them, and Mudarah (Companionship) towards them, or Mudahanah (Comprimising) to repel their evil; then verily, he is a kafir just like them, even if he despises their religion and hates them, and loves Islam and Muslims ." [Refer to the beginning of Ad-Dala’il] Imam Hamad Ibn Atiq said, “Indeed, assisting the mushrikeen against Muslims (Mudhaharah), and revealing to them the hidden plans of the Muslims, or defending them with speech, or being pleased with what (shirk) they are upon - each one of these is a Nullification; Thus whosoever does any of these - without being under Ikrah - then is is a murtad (apostate) - even if he hates the kuffar, and loves the Muslims ." [Ad Difa An Ahl As- Sunnah Wal-Ittba (31)]
