People ruin sports by obsessing about winning. I enjoy the camaraderie like anyone else but when the final score is up, does anything really change? There are still young men dying everyday for our freedom. Homelessness still exists. Political turmoil and social unrest is rampant. Sports may be an escape from the realities of the world, but the reality of the world offers no escape for all those suffering and living through them.
