Per Carroll County Sheriffs Office On March 20, 2014, at approximately 2:18pm, Public School officials notified the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office that they had received a telephone call reporting an anonymous non-specific threat to South Carroll High School. As a result, the school was put on lockdown. Law enforcement officers from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, and Sykesville Police Department responded to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
