Perception, Reality and Your Body Did you know that your body - TopicsExpress

Perception, Reality and Your Body Did you know that your body (your current home) can’t differentiate between perception and reality? An imagined event or a real event? If you almost have a car accident on the way to work (for example) or you dream that you do, your physiological response will be the same. Elevated heart rate, blood pressure and respiration and a cascade of stress hormones will result in both scenarios; imagined or real. Car or bed. The belief (“I am about to crash”), not the situation or event, will create the response. If the physiological shift was determined by the reality of the situation (almost crashing a car versus lying safely in a bed), we would see two totally different responses. It isn’t and we don’t. So, if our belief can create a massive and instant change in our physiology (and it can), imagine the potential we have to manipulate our bodies for something as positive as say, healing. Giddy-up. :)
