Personal Training at Oxygym Fitness Club today, READ AND BE INSPIRED IF THEY CAN DO IT SO CAN YOU. Day started at 9am with Michelle Green. Michelle has been working with Glyn Amos for a few months and has got herself in fantastic shape. Glyn put Michelle on Arnold Swazzenegger’s Chest and Back spit routine. Glyn said ‘Michelle’s looked so good doing the fly exercise I had to film it to show everyone what can be achieved with hard work, determination with an engineered and structured exercise programme through PT . Next in was 66 year old Jean Coleman. Jean amazes Glyn every session ‘Jean is an example to all women that whatever your age you can exercise, get fitter and live life to the full, when I see Jean working out I know that there are no excuses for doing some exercise regularly and reaping enormous benefits from it’. Oxygym’s two favourite blond sisters were next with Glyn for PT. Sophie and Emily Mclean are making real progress and moving forwards with their fitness and strength again. These two ladies will be in great shape by Christmas. Marsh House Harriers runner Allison Rae arrived at 1pm with a cold. ‘I’d rather do some resistance work than nothing’ she told Glyn. Allison managed to do 45 minutes resistance at about 75% of her max effort and finished off with abdominal exercises. Glyn said’ I wouldn’t recommend doing heavy cardio exercise with a cold because you can force the infection further into the respiratory tract, but with care and guidance it is possible to do resistance work, so very well done and great effort Allison’. Hope you’re feeling better tomorrow. Last but never least and returning after an extended holiday to Dubai was Tracy Thomas sporting a fantastic tan ‘it was just too hot’ she said as I looked out of the window at the grey Billingham outline. Great session doing intervals on the treadmill then onto a pad and gloves high intensity session with some upper body work and finishing with Abs. Great to see TT has not lost much fitness and nor has she put any weight on. Great to see you again Tracy. EFFORT+DETERMINATION WITH SUPPORT.
