Personal testimony. Correction from yesterday Today God showed me i was wrong in the post my service for the Lord. I was not wrong in the fact that i have a future of serving Him, neither that it will be abroad somewhere, maybe everywhere. But the spirit and character in what i wrote was wrong, God showed me today. God never calls us to have a character as a rock. He calls our faith to be like a rock, and thats something different. God never calls us to be autonomous machines but to be a part of the body of Christ. Who wants to be with a man that is like a rock anyway? And who think its funny to hang around a guy that acts and talks like a machine? No, God showed me that im to be like a river or a creek that gently flows down a hillside. If your out hiking in the hillside in the wild would you look for a large rock to camp for the night, raising your tent close to it? Or would you rather look for a machine to be your neighbor for the rest of the day and night? No, when people are out hiking in the nature they love when they come to a place where a creek runs its course downwards, slowly, peacefully and they like to camp there just listen to the peacefull steady running of the water to soothe them, tired of wandering the whole day. I answer to no-one but Jesus i wrote. That sounds like a very strong and spiritual statement, but being me, i still need to be attached to the body as Paul tried to show the corintians in his first letter. That dosent nessesarely means that the body, the members that im attached to wouldent grant me the freedom to serve the Lord the way i feel He wants me to. Some bodyparts enjoy more freedom than other parts because their function and work demands it. So be a creek, not a rock or a machine, says the lord. And serve me with gladness totally free, and then people would like to raise their tent and camp for the day and night, close to you, because the water that flows is the Holy Spirit, and the sound they hear is that of God, and the feeling they get is that of Christ being present. Be a creek. Not a machine, says the lord.
