Perspective ~ Unless you have the guts to put on a uniform, leave your family and swear to serve & protect the very people that attempt and succeed in harming and killing others sit down and shut up. You want change in law enforcement? Grow up & become one. Burning buildings isnt going to make it happen, destroying businesses of innocent people isnt going to make it happen, standing across a freeway isnt going to make it happen, and no matter how peaceful laying on the floor of a mall isnt going to make it happen. Be the change you want to see! Teach your children the way to be! Raise them yourself instead of allowing the streets or TV to do so. You see a child needing guidance? GUIDE them, stop turning the other cheek! My daddy taught me when it comes down to it, if its going to be me or you it wont be me. As for me, an average citizen, come upon me or into my home threatening to harm me or my children...it wont be me. Hands up, dont shoot? If youre smart enough to put your hands up, then youre smart enough to plant your feet and not continue to come at me. Any time an officer makes a choice they have to make, me or them, it makes headlines. The headline for an officer is most often an obituary. Dont like this post? Delete me.
