Peshawar University Teachers Association (PUTA) Congratulate all PUTA members that honorable high court declared PUTA stance on Botanical garden justified. We are thankful to all civil society organizations and media for their support. Botanical Garden was attempted by PTI Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak to be given to a private University (Air University). Against which PUTA went to court and in yesterday verdict Court decided the case in favor of PUTA. PUTA as democratic forum is always open to dialogue and negotiations and hope provincial government respond now to our public appeals via media to sit with us and discuss the problems faced by University of Peshawar during last 3 decades in various governments taking land from it with various pretext and handing them over to various institutions. we are in favor of development and establishment of new public sector universities but not at the cost of University of Peshawar.....Once again congratulations to PUTA members and its executive committee.
