Peter Shephard will captain NDCC 3rd grade in their match against Dapto at Reed park today for what will be his final game for the club before relocating to Melbourne for work. Peter is a life member of both the Junior and Senior club and has given so much to our club and Illawarra Cricket over the years. Shep is a dedicated cricket lover and servant of the game (even wears his club hat on overseas holidays to countries that dont know what cricket is). Shep has held office for NDCC Seniors & Juniors along with Cricket Illawarra roles and done almost everything else a club needs from supporting to coaching. NDCC are honoured to haveour Player of the Year award co named after Shep ...being the Shephard-Wright Award. Everyone who has played with or against Shep has a Shep story so we know his legend will live on for years yet. All the best Sheppy ! Good Luck with the next stage of your career and life.
