Peter here ~ Well, another birthday is upon me (tomorrow!) and I cannot help but be very reflective. Time seems to move along so very fast for us all. There is so much that I dream to do yet time doesnt seem to care about that! It moves along with or without me (you, too!). Im reminded of an old phrase: Dont let your music die within you. Now, I realize that is does not mean it literally! It means that we should do all we can to fulfill our potential and to aspire to be the change we wish to see in the world. In my case, it reminds me to never give up on the things that make you feel alive; that make you feel connected to others; that make you...well...you! As a musician, this old phrase is quite literal for me. While looking for another video file, I found this one hidden away on a hard-drive; unfinished; just sitting there; never seeing the light of day. Why is that, I wonder? Why do we have passions that we never share with the world? Why are we so afraid to express ourselves with our passions? If you write, then share those stories. If you draw or paint, share those pictures. If you play music, let your heart sing. If you love humanity and the planet, then make a stand. I need to finish this song one day. Just because.
