Petey is in need of a home! Below is the copy of the email we received from his current owners. Surely there is someone out there who can take this furbaby in! Contact us for more information or to adopt Petey. He is not currently at the shelter, so an appointment to meet him would need to be made with us. This sweet boy is Petey. He is around 3-4 years old, neutered, and is crate/house trained. We adopted him from another group a little over two years ago. His previous owners kept him chained to a tree in the rain, snow, no food, or water, and the kids of the house tormented the poor baby. Due to the fact that he is not good with kids and is not fond of smaller animals. He loves his sister (she is an Olde English Bulldogge) and gets along with her great. He does great with dogs his size or larger. Petey is an awesome guard/watch dog. He loves to be in your lap and cuddle. He is very chill, not very active, just needs someone to love and pet him. Due to me finding out that I am pregnant we are having to re-home my sweet baby, since he is not good with kids. Just because Petey has a few issues, he still deserves someone to love him the way he loves you back!
