Phase II of creating a recreational trail along Deer Creek, the local waterway of our Nevada City, CA, office, is complete! It includes a new 150 suspension bridge- designed to be a tribute site to the Nisenan Indians, ~2,000 of new trail to connect the bridge to the existing trail system, educational signage, and vegetation management (incl. invasive removal and thinning) to improve forest and watershed health and reduce the risk of catastrophic fire – a major public safety issue in California due to the current drought.
