Phew! Its hot. The cats have all melted now. Or thats what it looks like in the cat rooms. Every cat is sprawled out, draped over their beds, sound asleep. We have been tempted to go in and poke them to make sure they are all alive, but judging from the amount of cat food they ate this morning, everyone is fine! The dogs are all in the air conditioning enjoying a quiet afternoon nap. Our staff all wants to be napping too, but the dogs wont share their beds. They muttered something about us hogging them or something. Silly dogs. I bet they try to pull that maneuver on their adoptive parents when they finally go home too. If you dont have anything else to do on a hot afternoon, come on by the shelter and look for your next bed hog...um...pet. :)
