Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. #whatarewethinkingabout As I was meditating on the word of God, this scripture was placed on my heart. Every adjective in the above scripture describes the word of God, his word is TRUE (Proverbs 30:5), its HONEST (Numbers 23:19), its JUST (Psalm 18:25), its PURE (Psalm 12:6), its LOVELY (God is love), and its of a GOOD REPORT (The Good news or the Gospel). We can choose to believe the truth or we can believe what Satan attempts to get us to focus on. The enemies greatest tool is to get us to reason as it concerns the word of God, example God spoke to Adam and Eve and gave a commandment, yet Satan got her to reason, 4 The serpent said to the woman, You surely will not die! 5 For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. We can focus on the problem or the truth, what your thinking about can be that very thing helps or harms you, Job 3:25, For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. The battle starts in our mind, choose to believe! Joshua 1:8 NLT Study this Book of Instruction continually. MEDITATE on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it.
