Phone rings, Cincinnati number, hubby standing next to my desk. Me: hello? Grace (thick accent, African, I think): hello, this is Grace calling from ________. (by this time I wasnt listening) Im calling about your computer. Hubby: Tell them you dont have a computer. Me: I dont have a computer. Grace: UUUHHHHH... ***crickets chirping*** Me: Hello?? ***more crickets*** LOLOL. Turns out, theyd called repeatedly and Barry had told them repeatedly to take us off their call list but they didnt, which is illegal. I thought Hubby had a clever way to get off the phone fast, myself. Were on the no call lists but a recent Travelocity purchase triggered a wave of marketing calls and we hope they go away, one day.
