Pick of The Day 2013. 06. 26. Örebro – Ljungskile 2013-06-26 – 19:00 Pick: 1 Odds: 1.44 Bookie: 5Dimes Orebro performed well in away clash against GAIS, as they drew 1:1 which could be deemed as a positive result. They started the game well, preceded in the twenty fifth minute, however since then their hosts had the control of the match and managed to tie the score to 1:1 before the end of the first half. In the repetition, GAIS had some chances, but failed to achieve the second goal. With this draw Orebro continues to impress with their form, continuing to play with solid stability. Until now, they have just one defeat, while they remained unbeaten in last ten matches, having a 9-3-1 record overall. Great form brought them the leading position in the league, with four points more than their first followers, while the target of reaching the first league is more than reality if they continue playing like that. They are especially good at home, having seven victories out of seven matches and continuing 15:1 goal difference. With such a great performances at their own ground, there is no other target tonight but to get another three pointer. Coach doesn’t have much problems in front of the game as his substitute striker William Atashkadeh (4/0) couldn’t recover before the game and is the only absentee for the match. Ljungskile, on the other hand, managed to get a very important 1:0 victory last weekend over Orgryte. The hosts started well and had control of the game, managing to precede before the half time. However, early in the second half they were left with a player less and were limited to a passive role. Even with a passive role, their opponents didn’t threaten a lot and the home side managed to keep the result till the end of the game. Ljungskile was coming into that game from three straight defeats, that’s why the victory was very important for them as they managed to escape from the bottom part of the table. The team has lost last three matches away and will surely have to produce much better display if they are to come up with a point from this game. They are in no case a favorite tonight, but still would like to make a difference and return with a positive result. Coach Tore Andre Fredheim can’t count at suspended defender Nicklas Andersen (12/0) who got red carded in previous game. Orebro is in a great form and there are no many teams that can stop them at the moment. They are defeating all of their opponents relatively easy at home and Ljungskile should be just one of those.
