Picked this one for abt $2 at my local shop - Comic Heaven in Willoughby OH. MTU 26 from 10/74. Part of a stretch where every 3 months Marvel wld use the Torch as the primary character in MTU instead of Spidey. First tried it in 18 (2/74) then started the 3-month rotation with 23. Last Torch appearance as headliner was 35 (6/75). Story here by Len Wein with art by Jim Mooney, Frank Giacoia and Dave Hunt. OK story with nice reference to previous Marvel stories, but Thor plays a bigger role and gets more characterization than Torch, which was odd if they were trying to establish Torch as a more major character. Art is solid but not spectacular. Love it when Marvel and DC experimented like this, whether it worked or not...
