Pinkish Line Ltd. is proud to launch its charity organisation Qalb it-Tfal. Our aim is to sustain organisations/entities in care of kids. Roderick’s children were born prematurely, at 27 weeks, weighing less than 1 kilo each. Being so small, both children were cared for at Mater Dei Hospital’s NPICU, which is the intensive care unit for pre-terms and babies, for four months. It was during this time that Roderick noted the dedication of the staff and the specialisation of the unit. As thanks for the help and dedication shown by the staff at the NPICU, Roderick came up with the idea of organising a concert to help the NPICU raise the funds required to purchase the Natus “CoolCap” brain cooling equipment, which costs between Eur15,000 to Eur20,000. This equipment is required to cure newborn babies who are born with brain asphyxia or who have been oxygen deprived. The cooling system helps to restore the brain’s normal function. The concert, which is called “Sounds of Innocence” will be held on the 8 August 2013 at the Birzebbuga Promenade, with the participation of Mro Sigmund Mifsud’s Light Orchestra as well as singers Ludwig Galea, Dorothy Bezzina and Tiziana amongst others. Admission to the concert will be free of charge however it is our aim to raise the funds required to purchase the Natus “CoolCap” with the donations collected during the concert. All those who would like to contribute both to tho cause or by joining our voluntary team or financially you are more than welcome. Bank Account for donations: BOV 4002169720-3 Thanks on advance for your time reading this information and for all your future contributions. Regards, Roderick Cachia Managerial Director Pinkish Line Ltd.
