Pioneers Update July 3,2013 +++++++++++++++++ Maine-Portland Council ******************* TEEN MISSIONS POSSIBLE CLYNK COLLECTION UPDATE We are doing well with the returnable collection for Teen Missions Possible Center in Westbrook. So far, we have collected $87.85 worth of returnables. This money goes towards Christmas gifts for the teens at the end of the year. THANK YOU for your support. Every bottle and can gets us closer to a great holiday for these teens. PENNIES FOR PIONEERS Please donate your pennies to help us purchase food items for the Westbrook food pantry. Collection for Ruth’s Reusable’s Third Quarter Collection starts July 1 through Sept. 30. We are collecting for Ruth’s Reusable’s. We had such a great success last year, we wanted to assist our teachers and schools again this year. We are collecting any kind of school supplies -- markers, crayons, pencils, pens, folders, etc. Ronald McDonald House dinner donations We still need food donations for our next meal at RMH on MONDAY, July 8. The Pioneers are the guest chefs for dinner that night. We are planning a chicken barbeque. We are still in need of the following items: chicken breast and thighs and cole slaw. We know that this is a long weekend, and you may not have time to pick up the chicken or make the cole slaw.
