Pipeline years. Thousands of pipe segments and fittings were transported to Renovo yards from California via railroad flat cars and stored in the unused Renovo yards for a bit. They prepared the pipe segments at Renovo and loaded them onto trucks for transport into the job sites out in the mountain work sites. The Pipeliners probably appreciated working on flat level ground instead of a steep sloped mountainside in the mud?
