Playground Construction Meeting: Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tucker mini-auditorium. A construction meeting is planned for Wednesday, March 12, at 7 p.m. in the Tucker mini-auditorium. We plan to hear from the construction company as well as the project manager about the timeline of the project and other items. One issue of concern is the divergence of funds away from a gate surrounding the childrens play areas and how this can be remedied. As it stands now there is no budget for a protective fence. We have been assured that a temporary measure is being looked into but this is a major change form the original plans and nothing has been confirmed even though construction has begun . Please inform your friends as I have done as they may have an issue with a brand new park being built without the correct safety measures in place. We hope you can attend this meeting.
