Call to Action: NJ Activists Against Vivisection This page is for ALL activists who are working toward the abolition of vivisection. It is especially for those activists who live in NJ or the contiguous states who can attend protests and actions in NJ. Our profile picture is of a dog named Freedom. Freedom spent the first 5 years of his life as a test subject in a contract testing laboratory in New Jersey. Freedom was liberated on the 4th of July weekend in 2010. This page is dedicated to Freedom and all of his brother and sister "Freegles" (there were 125 of them liberated at the same time) as well as the 55 monkeys who were also liberated from the same lab and who are all safe in sanctuaries. Over the course of the next several weeks we will be spotlighting New Jersey animal testing labs and the drug companies who contract with them. We will also be recruiting activists to work on specific NJ based campaigns. There are thousands of other beagles like Freedom, imprisoned in NJ laboratories, waiting to be liberated.
