Kennedy – Executive Director (646) 820-0117 NEW HOPE FOR THE WORLD MINISTRIES (NHWM) "DEBRA MAE CUMMINGS AND CASSANDRA HARTZOG” SCHOLARSHIP The “DEBRA MAE CUMMINGS AND CASSANDRA HARTZOG” Scholarship was established to prevent the spread of HIV amongst women and to address and treat the underlying issues which tend to be reoccurring themes of persons infected with HIV. The purpose of this scholarship is to use education and empowerment as a means to eradicate the spread of HIV/AIDS. New Hope For The World Ministries desires to offer financial assistance to a female student, Black and/or Latina; based in Harlem in the amount of $500.00. Award must be used towards their educational expense. Student must major in one of the following disciplines: health/medicine, social sciences, political science, education and/or theology. CRITERIA Applicant cannot be related to any executive team member of New Hope For The World Ministries. Applicant cannot be a congregant of any pastor of New Hope For The World Ministries’ executive team.
