Please do not disrespect my husband because he made the choice not - TopicsExpress

Please do not disrespect my husband because he made the choice not to join the military, be a postman, a mechanic, a writer, or a roughneck (etc)... Any man/person who works provides some kind of service. Yes, we should thank our oil field workers for providing stuff to make products we all use and love. We should thank our military for sacrificing their lives and keeping us free. We should thank our emts, doctors, nurses, dentist, and all medical staff for keeping us healthy. We should thank the waiter for bringing us food. The walmart emoloyee for checking us out or stocking the shelves. We should thank the copper plant guy for making the stuff for the air conditioning units or plumbing. The lumberjack for making sure we have paper (money) and a home. The store manager for making sure the store runs somewhat smoothly. Moral of my rant session, one person isnt better than another because of the job they chose. Most are very dangerous in their own respects. Be proud of your man yes, but dont belittle others because they didnt make the same choices yours did. After all, it takes all types of men and women, doing all types of jobs, to make this world operate well. K thanks.
