Please do not miss listening to this important interview and please share it with as many as you can. https://facebook/152547194813334/photos/a.216201598447893.48092.152547194813334/755519131182801/?type=1 EU Reporter, Peter von Kohl, has interviewed Mr Janusz WOJCIECHOWSKI - the new President of the EU Parliaments Animal Welfare Intergroup - following his third visit in Romania. https://youtube/watch?v=TdJ7uaRKHc0 Mr WOJCIECHOWSKI paints a very grim picture of the situation of Romanian dogs stating that the situation hasnt improve but has worsened - controlled by an industry that is bas...ed solely on the catching and killing of dogs and that wants to make sure that as much profits as possible can be made during the years to come. Mr WOJCIECHOWSKI talks about the ongoing brutal slaughter of Romanian dogs and the new regulations which will only increase the horrifying situation by adding millions of dogs to be killed by the corrupt gangs, warning that they are even going into private homes to catch dogs and benefit from this by being paid a high fee. Immediately after publication of the KILLING NORMS in end 2013, Occupy for Animals, as well as Romanian associations, had warned that making sterilization and registration compulsory for people whose income would not even suffice to feed their own families, would only lead to more dogs being abandoned. This regulation came into force on 1st of January, 2015 and many people have already abandoned, and many more will abandon their dogs, some with a very heart because they love them, simply out of fear to be fined an incredible 2,500 euro for non-compliance and which is ASTRONOMICAL in a country where the average income is of about 320 euro per month. This has the desired effect that new animals are continuously being added to this sad cycle of catching, warehousing, killing and incinerating hundreds of thousands of discarded animal companions, and thus assuring the continuation of this dirty industry for the years ahead . FOR THE RECORD: The Methodological Norms for Law 258/2013 (the Slaughter Law) had been officially presented in the Romanian Embassy in Vienna end of 2013 by Mr Kuki Barbuceanu - at that time still Vier Pfoten Project Coordinator - and who was also instrumental in their creation. Mr Kuki Barbuceanu, who should have known (and very likely did know) that most Romanians, especially in rural areas, could not afford the costs for sterilization and registration and would simply abandon their dogs and which would assure again a constant supply of new raw material, is now the Head of the new and famous Romanian Animal Police. He is enjoying a government salary since end of February 2014 - since he has been employed by ANSVSA as a counselor and appointed head of the Animal Police that Romania and the world - after almost one year - are still waiting to see in action. For more information on the Romania-Animal-Police-Hoax, please see: occupyforanimals.net/romanias-animal-police-ansvsas-market-stunt-to-counter-their-image-loss.html Mr WOJCIECHOWSKI talks about all this... and also about why Romania is not the right destination choice for tourists (romaniatourism.biz/) and also about why all our hopes rest now on the new President, Mr Klaus Iohannis (romaniatourism.biz/#!klaus-iohannis-the-brave-new-president/c1sb3) . https://youtube/watch?v=TdJ7uaRKHc0 Thank you!
