Richard, the father, has, however, more to add to a similar pride that is his; that his engineering genius has always impressed people all over the world who admire the famous warplane. Most military experts think that when it comes to a major war, his fighters will rank first and can bring about a decisive victory. Bruces father shares the American tradition of paying little attention to conflicts in the world. However, something happened yesterday and violated that behavior rule. A burning Gaza was flashed on TV and he was awed by a monstrous dark cloud that was going terribly high into the sky. It was still radiating fire in the inside. He lowered his viewing angle and was very surprised that the cloud belonged to an airstrike that hit somewhere within a densely-crowded part of the city. He knew that cloud must have belonged to the effect of the heaviest bomb to be mantled on an F-16 fighter. So, the ton-weight penetrating bomb-rocket targeted a building in an overcrowded city. It took Richard less than 30 minutes, using his laptop, to know that Israel has been accustomed to such misuse of American advanced war technology to demolish Palestinian houses. In the recent attack, Israel has flattened to earth about two hundred houses, killing more than 169 and wounding more than 1150, 70% of them children, women and elderly people. And while most families were given 3 minute ultimatums for evacuation before targeting the houses, Israel chose not to do so to about 8 houses. They were destroyed at night without giving any ultimatums by F-16 fighters while families were asleep or observing rituals of the holy month of Ramadan. Richard came across to what happened to one particular family, the Batsh clan. Because the chief of the Gazan police, who belonged to the same family, was around, Israel decided not to miss what it considered a catch. The house was attacked without any warning and that resulted in massacring some 20 civilians; women, men and children. Richard has not yet seen the picture of the children of the Batsh family. He should know they lost almost everything; parents and brothers and for sure they will never again have the opportunity to get hugs and fatherly kisses that Bruce usually gets.
