Please, everyone, please see this! I havent been this excited since the day I got my drivers license! BC may actually punish people for hanging out in the passing lane and blocking traffic. The left lane is not a casual traveling lane, it is a PASSING LANE!! Washington got it right! I love that they pulled over 14,000 people last year for traveling too slowly in the passing lane. If the country wants to get rid of 99% of road rage, this is how you do it. You ticket the people that are the reason for road rage, the ones that dont know the simple rule about the left most lane and infuriate everyone behind them. If everyone followed the Keep Right except to Pass rule there wouldnt be a need for more than two lanes on almost any road in Canada! We build more lanes but people just clog them up. We could save millions of tax dollars and the environment if people just obeyed this one simple rule. And not only is it the law but its common courtesy! OK, Im off my soapbox now!
