Please if you come across any horses or ponys dumped within the Leinster or Munster area think before you report them, They will be picked up by the pound and You will not see them again, The Irish Horse re-homing program are now the only ones who can get horses from the 2 largest pounds maybe 5 a month the rest will be Killed or Shipped out to Slaughter. Think before you act, contact myself or one of the other equine rescues, What started out as a good idea is now nothing more than a business built on blood monie and corruption at its worst. If horses are in dire need and i could not take due to room issues then i will see the horses vet checked and if prognosis is good will find space or will PTS humanly if prognosis is bad. The Irish horse,cob,trotter etc all deserve a chance not for some business acting as god to cherry pick and get paid for doing so.
