Please join the Central Coast Young Farmers & Ranchers TOMORROW Wednesday, August 13th 2014 5:30pm at the Monterey County Farm Bureau Office (931 Blanco Circle, Salinas) for an informative presentation by Gary Petersen, Public Works Director for City of Salinas and dinner provided by CCYF&R! Downtown Salinas is poised for a new community-based vision plan for pedestrians, bicycles, traffic flow, sustainable parking and attractive sense of place. The proposed Vibrancy Plan is intended to address serious needs to update Downtowns infrastructure to assure pedestrian safety, calm vehicular traffic to encourage increased bicycle use, provide a sustainable parking strategy, and create a sense of place through art and culture that attracts visitors to a new, safe destination.
