I wish to commend the men and officers of the Nigeria Police, Lagos State Command especially those of Bode Thomas Division for their prompt response to my distress call about a robbery attempt in the middle of the night recently. Within minutes, they called me back to confirm the exact location of the house and when they arrived, combed the entire area. They gave the assurance that I could call them any time there was suspicion of robbery and that even if I didn’t have credit in my phone, they would always call me. I also wish to call on the public to support the Nigeria Police by contributing to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund as this will help in no small measure to improve the security situation in the state. This is a testimony that not all policemen are bad as we also have good, responsible and reliable men and officers in the force. Once again, I say ‘’kudos’’ to the Nigeria Police.
