Please look out for this young Great Eastern lady agent who scam people at SengKang area. She was trying to sell my mom Eldershield and say it is compulsory. Get my moms IC and key in the system and make my mum to sign for the plan. My mum, do not understand English, told her she would like to check with her daughter (me) and go to their office to sign instead. the lady was persistent and according to my mom she took a really really long time. in the end my mum has no choice but to call me. so over the phone, I spoke with that lady. she briefly told me its Eldershield its compulsory blar blar blar. I asked her who is she. she say shes an agent from GE. I say ok nvm I will check with my GE agent before committing to this plan. She can actually tell me but I have already key in all the info! Im like so? I dont know head and tail, and I doubt my mom fully understand the whole scam and all because you have keyed in, we have to signed??!? she say ok nvm and she hung up. when I call my mom back, she said the lady was pissed and took back her name card and stomp off. my mum had took pictures of her name card and name tag with her phone. I say ok good. I will go check it out the Eldershield Plan with my agent. my mom called back shortly and said that the agent came back and request to delete the photos on my moms phone. my mum argued with her, in the end allowed her to delete away. the lady told my mom she is scared coz her daughter(me) was fierce. and what nowadays insurance business very hard to do blar blar blar... conclusion I cant bring up this case to the authority!!!! so pls pls pls warn your parents of this!!! anyway I have checked, anyone who is above 40 will be auto enrolled into this Eldershield. so I was suspecting she is selling the premium plan. arghhh!!!
