Please off our next Bonus-mom your supportive advice and encouragement on dealing with her situation: Im a step mom of 5 children. My husband was married before and had 4 girls, he also has a son from a relationship after his marriage. His ex wife is not a good mother at all the the girls call me mom, not because I have asked them, but they were young when we got together and said I treated them better than their mom. Now my ss mom is a good mother and does everything she is supposed to, when my ss calls me mom I dont know what to say to him, he is 4, because I dont want to hurt moms feelings. I talked to his mom before about it and she told my ss that she was his mom and she gets mad when he calls me mom. But now ss mom has a boyfriend for about 6 months now and when she post stuff she calls boyfriend ss daddy. This has happened before but with her ex boyfriend. Ss told me my husband was not his dad, that moms boyfriend was his dad. When ss is over here he says his other daddy or calls boyfriend by name. My husband loves his children and is active in his childrens lives and I dont think every boyfriend she has should be referred to as ss dad. Please give me advise.
